Nursing Director - Tower 2 Cardiac Care Unit

Tower2 is a 36-bed telemetry unit that provides individualized care for adults with diverse chronic and acute conditions that are primarily cardiac-related, but also include neurological, CVAs and pulmonary. Critical drips include Dobutamine, Cardizem and Lidocaine. Telemetry Technicians monitor all patients. The first phase of the current expansion project will provide an additional 36 single patient rooms to this unit.

The incumbent is accountable for the planning, implementation and operation of the unit in support of YRMC's mission, vision, and strategic objectives. Will provide leadership, innovation, and expertise in the management of the unit in accordance with Patient and Family Centered care philosophies – placing the patient and family first.

Requirements:

·         BS in Nursing or closely related field

·         Master's in Nursing or related field preferred

·         5 years clinical management experience

·         YRMC will accept equivalent combination of education and experience
